A lifestyle accessible to all. Only a few call it home.
A lifestyle
accessible to all.
Only a few call it
home.
Set within the high-country Glendhu Station, this private lifestyle development sits on the shores of Lake Wānaka, at the gateway to the Motatapu and Matukituki valleys. It brings together 42 architecturally considered homesites, centred around a 19-hole course by John Darby, inspired by time-honoured links traditions and framed by over 2,000 hectares of preserved open space.
The principle is simple: tread lightly, build responsibly, let the land lead. The community is calm and connected. Privacy is respected.

Golf at Glendhu anchors the community. A nineteen-hole course by John Darby unfolds at walking pace, shaped by natural contour rather than imposed form. Strategy is guided by wind and ground. Practice facilities, short-game areas, and a putting course support daily play, while the clubhouse will provide dining, changing facilities, a Pro Shop, and a place to gather.

A small number of homes sit within the land at Glendhu, set low in the contour and open to the lake and the mountains beyond.
Life here runs unhurried and outward: the course at the door, trails from the gate, the water a short walk away. Mountain biking from lake edge to tussock, minutes up the valley. Fishing and watersports through summer, direct access to Treble Cone ski field under 25 minutes from the gate through winter.
Each residence is designed to tread lightly, eco-led and built to endure, true to the place that holds it. Residences at Glendhu are offered privately and by enquiry. To understand what may be available, we invite you to speak with our team.

A limited number of Founding Memberships are offered ahead of the course’s opening in 2027.
Founders shape Glendhu from the ground up: first access to play, a standing place in the club, and a voice in the collective taking root on the shores of Lake Wānaka. It is an invitation to belong to an extraordinary lakeside community.
Glendhu sits on the western shore of Lake Wānaka, ten minutes from the township and twenty five minutes from Treble Cone. Near enough for a morning coffee or a day on the mountain, far enough to feel a world apart. Queenstown International Airport lies an hour by road, or fifteen minutes by helicopter. And the township can be reached as the shoreline invites: by boat, by bike, or along the lakefront trail.
